Ownership vs Retail Charter

Cost effective and flexible
There are quite a few companies whose top executives travel on an extensive basis. They take to the skies regularly and generally travel first class. If you do the math, then a jet charter herein will be costly in the long run, but also flexible, saves time, and will also go a long way in increasing productivity. However, so will owning a jet. This becomes beneficial if you are a large company and need to have a jet on your rolls for emergency purposes and regular usage. There are many cases wherein ownership is better than retail charter. This is when you are traveling one way and don’t plan to return for several weeks. This is when an ownership program will work for you.

It’s all about affordability
The point is very simple. If you can afford it, you can go for jet ownership. Otherwise, it’s best that you stick to retail charter. The practicality of choosing one over the other completely depends on the individual’s perception. As aforementioned, if you can afford it then there can be no better option then ownership, however, if you think that it would be stretching your budget than it’s advisable to charter a jet.

The tax benefit advantage
It must be said, however, that there are no tax benefits associated with retail charter, as it is considered a business expense by the IRS. Aircraft ownership on the other hand is eligible for tax deduction on account of it being considered an asset.  You can also consider this aspect when you go for either of the two. Whatever you choose, Skyview Aviation can help you decide what is best for you and what will satisfy all your needs and requirements.
